I recently received a new Macbook Pro 13 with Touch Bar. This replaces my old 2012 15 inch RMBP.
I have been using a DELL D6000 universal Docking Station. This dock supports connection via both USB 3.0 and USB C. Although not officially supported it works when using the Display Link drivers.

My issue is that when I connect it via USB C to my new MBP, the external screen activates, and is seen by the MBP. I can arrange the displays and it is shown in display preferences. However the screen is Black. I can move the cursor onto the screen and it appears, however there is no way to use the screen for anything. As in nothing other than a moving cursor appears on the screen.
